Starburst Enterprise 396-e STS

Starburst Enterprise platform (SEP) 396-e STS has been released as a follow-up to the 395-e STS release.

The release is based on Trino 396, which includes the following noteworthy changes:

  • Improved performance when processing strings.
  • Faster writing of array, map and row types to Parquet.
  • Support for pushing down complex join criteria to connectors.
  • Support for column and table comments in BigQuery connector.
