Starburst Announces Datanova, Two-Day Virtual Conference with Keynote by Bill Nye

Taking place February 9-10, 2020, the event will bring together data industry professionals to share innovations and best practices in data science, artificial intelligence, prescriptive analytics and more

BOSTON — November 9, 2020 —Starburst announced today it will be hosting a two-day virtual conference called Datanova that empower data teams around the world to get the most and best out of their data. Scheduled for February 9-10, 2021, the inaugural conference will include a keynote from the internationally recognized scientist and television personality Bill Nye.

In addition to his critically acclaimed television programs like Bill Nye the Science Guy and Bill Nye Saves the World, and three best-selling books, Bill Nye is also the CEO of The Planetary Society, whose mission is to empower the world’s citizens to advance space science and exploration.

Other notable keynote speakers include Starburst co-founder and CEO Justin Borgman, who will co-present with Google Cloud on how to “Drive digital transformation faster with X Analytics,” and Dave McCrory, VP of Growth, Global Head of Insights and Analytics at Digital Reality who will give a talk on “Data Gravity: Then and Now.” Dave originally coined the term “Data Gravity” ten years ago and will discuss the acceleration of the data gravity challenge over the past decade.
